More Palin Funnies

Here’s what the Republicans have left. Gov. Palin speaking last night at a fundraiser in Greensboro, NC:

We believe that the best of America is in these small towns that we get to visit, and in these wonderful little pockets of what I call the real America,” Ms. Palin said, according to a pool report. “Being here with all of you hard-working very patriotic, um, very, um, pro-America areas of this great nation. This is where we find the kindness and the goodness and the courage of everyday Americans.”

As someone who apparently lives in an anti-America area of this great nation, I can’t wait for this election to end — and for Gov. Palin to go back to being the governor of a great big state right next to Russia.

If Chicago’s anti American in Palin’s view, whatever adjectives might she choose for my area, San Francisco. Oh the horror, the horror……

Please look at what she said today in response to Biden’s anger about her comments on patriotism:

“It’s all pro-America. I was just reinforcing the fact that there, where I was, there’s good patriotic people there in these rallies, so excited about positive change and reform of government that’s coming that they are so appreciative of hearing our message, hearing our plan. Not any one area of America is more pro-America patriotically than others,” she said.

It’s over for me. The kids and I voted early today at the Evanston Civic Center. It was touch screen and I touched Obama and then cleared the check that appears. Then Zach touched it, and I cleared the check. Then Skyler touched it and we left his check. we all three voted for Obama and we touched “submit my ballot” together at the very end. I gave a little lecture about how we were making history and I told them that we might get our country back for the first time in their consicous lives. We celebrated with pizza at Carmen’s afterwards.

Skyler and I both had on Obama shirts.
