North Carolina’s Mean Spirited Obama Ad

Look at this North Carolina Republican television ad disparaging Obama, even refuted by McCain.   If the video does not appear in this post, go to this link .  Senator Elizabeth Dole is channeling Pontius Pilate saying she can’t control the people.  Should she?  I don’t mean to put Obama & Jesus on equal footing here, but it feels like the Republicans have crossed into a disrespectful zone this time.   Reminds me of the swift boat ads.  Please not again….

editor’s note: Here is the actual ad. still bad, but believeable

Ummm . . .no way, mom. Maybe I am going to the wrong link, but there is no way the Republican party made that ad. It uses the n word and “tar baby.” Actual party leading Republicans are not that stupid.

It does raise the interesting question of who made it and for what purpose.

You’re right, LB. I meant to post the one in your note, but went to uTube and got the the wrong one. Sorry all. I still don’t like the mean spirit of the ad.

Is the last comment an ad?

  4. nobamakoolaid says:

Yes it is. Doesn’t Word Press offer filters to keep this stuff out, LB.

Yes, one of my duties (haha I said doody – yes I have 2 sons) is going through the spam. I have it set really high so usually it is not deleting, but allowing comments. I’ll delete that one — it learns. We get a few, maybe a dozen a day.

Edited: Now it is gone so this will make little sense.
