I’m very late to the party moaning about the imminent demise of the Times, and what it means for informed democracy in our country. But c’mon, folks.     why won’t the paper just allow donations? I don’t want all that newsprint but I will click donate now then ALL my money can go to producing news and NONE would go to paper and ink.

    I love the mornings with time for a cup of coffee & the NY Times! Yes, I am a tactile person who has an acquired taste for paper instead of screens.
