Eugene Robinson and Vicky?

Vicky — Have you been hanging around with Washington Post columnists?

In Indiana, I met a college professor whose detailed familiarity with every nook and cranny of the Pollster.com Web site was a little frightening. In the course of our conversation I mentioned another site that aggregates poll data — RealClearPolitics.com — and when I saw her make a mental note I immediately regretted the indiscretion. I had inadvertently sentenced her to even more hours of obsessive behavior.

HA! You totally nailed it, jeff. I know a lot of college professors who are spening too much time on the sites. Myself included.

Oh, man! If only! Eugene, I’m here, waiting for you!!!! I already KNOW about RealClearPolitics.com, too!!!! And fivethirtyeight.com. And I play with my own NYT map every day, compulsively . . . .

Guess I’ll be a poll-watcher on Nov. 4! That’s me, guardian of demoracy in the State of Lake (as the Supreme Court of Indiana calls it, off the record), on Nov. 4.

Cannot WAIT for this to be over so I can get back to work!
