Given our recurring discussion about police using tasers, I was surprised that none of us brought up the taser death Sept. 24, 2008. A mentally disturbed naked man wielding a long flourescent light bulb was tasered on a 2nd floor balcony or landing of some sort and fell to his death.
Now, the officer (who it was determined should not have ordered him tasered) has killed himself.
Tragedy upon tragedy. How sad.
